Over 50 people showed up to view the progress on Harmony House despite the threat of snow later in the day. Jamie had mocked up the kitchen counter for the Open House with plywood so visitors could experience the space for themselves.

The most common comment was, "It feels larger inside than I thought it would." We heard this repeated by each guest as they entered. Because the loft creates a comfortable entry zone, the vaulted ceiling in the living area, which rises almost eleven feet on the south wall and nine feet on the north, makes the room live big. The windows help expand the feeling of available space and connect the interior with the world outside.

Inside the shop we showed our design/build process with photos and illustrations.
